Looking to get one of these simply to use the E-type mech mount to run a front mech on a bike with no provision for one.
Anyone any experience of them? Stiff enough as a mounting point for the mech?
Remains to be seen whether the frame has clearance for the mech regardless of how it's bodged on... but any experience shared would be appreciated.

I used one on a 2005/2006 specialized big hit to run it double up front (although frame also had a threaded mount to help secure the front mech for an e-type)
Worked ok with no issues for me.
