2 mins into my ride today,going round 1st corner on the road,swoosh straight on mi side and slid 20ft down the road no sh1t!! 😮 Be careful out there.
reason i havent been on in about 3 week, im still waiting for it to clear
yep black ice everywhere today...... lots of skool closures (health n safety).........
dont ride on black ice- its bad enuff walking... even clear tarmac is slippery...its awfull out there..... im missing my riding so much...

Mainly slush and compacted snow round here in bristol, which is pretty grippy. Really enjoyed the hub depth powder in places off road too, first time I think I've maxed my heart rate out trying to pedal downhill on an MTB 🙂
Looking forward to another even more extended off road adventure home tonight.
When you hit it it's amazing how quickly you end up staring at the sky!
That horrible experience when no time elapses between being in a state of just riding along and being on the deck. The actual event of falling seems not to exist. Then the few seconds that go between thinking "cr@p, I've fallen off" and then thinking "cr@p, that hurts".
