As there is no easy route up on bike I'm thinking of strapping bike to rucksack and going up footpath via stridieing edge (can get up there in just under an hour if I yomp it) then either bivi it or just blast down dollywagon pike to tin mines (went up this way on bike a couple of years ago ,makes one hell of a dh).anyone else fancy it

Carry a bike up striding edge? Why? Why not ride up via keppel cove - far easier and even for mere mortals mostly rideable.
