Last night took a drop I've done many times before...but too casual and too slow = broken arm ๐Ÿ™

This morning thumbed through new copy STW mag (with full arm pot on) only to come acoss Binners article "complacency is devasting"...oh, the irony, and how true.

Ah yes, Binners is good at mega crashes on home turf.

One night we were sitting in a pub near a canal tow path, that Manchester way, when binners decides it's a good idea to ride down the steps into the very busy beer garden, where he did a wonderful impression of a flying cow. The inertia caused quite a few injuries.
Luckily having had a few, he didn't realise until home time that mmmm this maybe serious ๐Ÿ™‚

Mojo - I'm really sorry that I'm right. It doesn't happen often. Get well soon fella! If its any consolation. I came off again last Friday, After riding into a house brick while on the road, and landed on my knees yet again!

Bunnyhop - Yes, not my most auspicious moment. 2 broken ribs if I remember rightly. I didn't notice until the next morning. Riding while drunk is neither big nor clever, m'kay

Though I have had considerably dafter accidents than that, even. And I do like an audience for my frequent mishaps. I really should ride in a red nose, big shoes and a squirty flower. ๐Ÿ˜€

Agreed. I had one of those magnetic attractions to ruts on a regularly ridden track on Sunday, which lead to a (suspected) fractured elbow and a nice bit of rock-rash. Happy to say the fracture clinic sent me home with nothing so serious to worry about. Hope to be riding again next week
