You've bought yourself a helmet cam and you've videoed your favourite 5 minute bit of singletrack to show your mates/wife/gf/bf/etc. What artist/track would you dub over the top of the video to bring out that singletrack whoop feeling?

Mmm. Call me old fashioned, but would like to hear some suggestions for some slightly lighter stuff than metal, punk etc. Seems that all biking video music is set to that sort of thing, so was trying to get some originality from the great and good of STW'ers

If it's not mad fast technical stuff then something like Boards of Canada might work well.

lo fidelity allstars aren't metal.

How about something by Underworld. Like King of Snake. That'd go well.
Gentler? M83, Sigur Ros, Mogwai..

I have to agree. Staring at a black wall in a dark room is about all that matches Murcof

Thanks all. Probably showing my age, but not heard of half the stuff suggested so will give them a quick listen via the iTunes library later this evening. Keep them coming

Oh, and IanMunro, thanks for the suggestion of Benny Hill. Didn't realise we knew each other.

I don't wanna die, don't expect me to die.
I've got my enemies within my sight.
We're look through a stain glassed genocide.

I don't wanna die, don't expect me to die.
What's joy without the tears filling our eyes.

Memories of a perfect time.
We dream of nothing or so we say.
We dream of discovering a perfect trail ....
