I find myself in Bury for the night.
Is anybody riding locally tomorrow for an hour or two and happy to show me arround?

If no-one else is around, then go up the road to Ramsbottom, and ride the bridleway running round the hill below Peel Tower. An out & back in each direction should keep you occupied for a couple of hours.
Or you're pretty close to Lee Quarry.

where in Bury are you? You van head upto peel tower, quite a bit round there, and esme says lee quarry is only over the hill.

Thanks apparentlty we can see the Tower from here I am in Walshaw.

Get into Rammy centre then climb The Rake, go past the pub, take the next right and follow the track to the tower.
