Does anyone have any good trails to recommend in the Crychan Forest. I have been on their own web-site but it only describes what sound like family/fire road trails. Also, plan to camp wild within the forest - is it practicable (accepting that it may not be allowed by FC)?

Crychan is pretty good, although rather massive and hard to navigate.
You really need to know where you are going as it is hard to find the best bits and easy to get lost.
None of the good bits are marked and most use old or current MX tracks which basically go straight down, so lots of climbing if you want a good ride.
As for camping... can't think of all that many spots where you could camp. It is obviously not allowed, but rather massive so you are unlikely to see anyone in there.
