Really felt gutted reading others appeals and never hoped it would be me but given the consistency of such messages presumed it would be inevitable. Last night I joined this mournful club.

Can anyone keep an eye out for 2 Coves,

Silver Cove 2005 G Spot with 36mm Fox RC2 Vanilla's and RC2 shock with Ti Spring. XT shadow rear mech, Saint Triple Chain ring cranks with DMR V12 flats with Conti Rubber Queen Black Chilli 2.5" tyres, Hope M4 Brakes, Tiger skin effect SDG Saddle on cheap seatpost most notable features are, Helitape, a metal head badge not the usual sticker and some scratches on down tube underside from other bike's pedals

Blue Cove Stiffee 69er limited edition 35 of 69 XT groupset with XT shadow rear mech, Raceface Turbine Triple Chain rings (5 hole) Disc rotors have 69er cut in and they are Hope Brakes. Tyres are 2.5 Conti Black Chilli Mountain Kings. WTB Black Rocket V saddle on Raceface seat post.

Chances are the thief was well tooled and equipped and might have travelled some distance for this heist and so I am expecting these bikes may well turn up in Liverpool, Manchester or Birmingham, and more likely be up for sale rather than personal swag.

Now got some photos to show and would be grateful if anyone here can help me locate anyone trying to dispose of these bikes. I have created a number of searches on ebay for the bike make model and key parts on the off chance anyone tries to sell it as a whole or broken bike.

If anyone else has any ideas or links where it may be worthwhile to raise riders attention to these bikes and an Orange Crush that was also stolen belonging to somebody else please feel free to drop me a hint here or give me a prod if you want to exchange anything confidentially by email. There is an outside chance if it turns out the thief was local the bike could be in the Wrexham, Deeside area

Been there mate, gutted for you

I'm on the Wirral and will keep an eye out for you.

Didn't ride Llandegla last weekend by any chance?

Both mine and a friends (who also had his go a few months after) went after we had ridden there the weekend before. His turned up in a bike shop in Liverpool.

Not far from Llandegla, there is a Llandegla connection to the matter but nothing to do with anyone following the bikes home, they were not taken from Home but temporary storage whilst I try to sort out a new secure shed as no longer have room for them in the house, this spot was broken into by somebody looking for other bikes kept there.
