The flipside of this though, is that your colleagues and HR department tend to take a dim view of you after watching a video on social media of you casing a big table top resultung in you being off work for 8 weeks with drain bramage.

Riding a bicycle isn't as socially acceptable as breaking your leg playing footy apparently.

My employer would view both exactly the same.
And do nothing.
An inconvenience but just one of those things you will never avoid as an employer.
