I'm struggling with some other website / OS maps stuff. might be a problem with that rather than the satellite websites

Pook - not trying to be funny just help. It's useful external resource for finding out if a problem is unique to you or a general issue for all internet users.

Perhaps if you want to know if a particular functional aspect of a site is working or not you could post a more specific question than 'is site x down'?

worked fine for me on sat, but seems to be dead now. wheresthepath is dead too but has a link to [url= http://twitter.com/OSOpenSpace_Svc ]OS OpenSpace status[/url] which looks like it might be the source of the problem.

OS bit seems to work OK first thing in the morning. If you look at FAQ on the bikehike site it explains why - there is a daily limit on the amount of data retrieved from OS (for example, as of 07:54 today 22% has already been allocated)
