for example on dunkery beacon, exmoor, on the os map on bikehike there are the standard bridleway dashes in red, which i am allowed to ride on, but there are similar dashes in black. am i allowed to ride these, or are they something else? i thought footpaths were shorter red dashes.
there is a similar black dash which crosses cutgate (margery hill /outer edge) in the peak. is this footpath only?
