My mother fell off her bike when she was 8 months pregnant with me - explains a lot 🙂

Lassie I used to work with commuted through Edinburgh by bike every day - including the day before she gave birth.

Is this utility cyclists attitude v recreational?

for me a bike is my only transport so I use it for everything.  I have cycled to minor injuries to get my hand stitched up because it was the easiest way to do it

We walked to birth of our three kids but the hospital insisted we drove home. Some excuse to ensure we had the right baby seat. I should have said we didn’t have a car.
