Most bike tattoos are strangely drawn.

I saw a brilliant one a while back, where a feller had wanted "UNSTOPPABLE" in a foreign language, but it was too big for his arm so he cut it down to say, essentially, "UN-"

If you're not sure what you'd get, you probably should get nothing.

I love the 'Bicycle' one in Tazzy's post, that's v cool.

Tats are personal, if you want a bike related one, go for it. Friend of mine has a middleburn ring on his leg.

Someone will have the dig chainring soon. Remember one backyard jam we were on the door asking for tickets, tottoos and studded belts or no entry. Supprisingly most didn't get the joke.

I was thinking of getting a MTB tattoo. Not really seen one I like though. Maybe my name written in chain links or tyre print. I seen a star shaped chain link that looked OK. I was over in Spain with switchbacks and Danny Sorenson's tat was OK. "Ride" in big letters across his calf.

I managed to get a bit of inspiration. A DNA chain that evolves into a bike chain. That's it that's the one for me. Been thinking of what to get for ages.

Wouldn't have a tattoo and I'm not keen on them (don't mean to offend anyone with one.). However, the one that would be most suitable for me over the years would be the made up quote "Put me back on my bike!". I've had a few serious offs...!

Yeah, I was thinking about that back in my motorbike days- double helix with a twisted chain. Never could decide whether both strands would be chains, or one would be a chain and the other a tyre print.

What sort of self abusive soul gets an egg beater tat? I expect it needs re-inking every other week.

I've considered getting a bike tattoo. You know how sometimes when your leg brushes against the big chain ring it leaves an oily black market like 5/6 teeth , I was thinking of having that made permanent, just something simple & only other cyclists would get it.

Very drole, careful you'll only encourage someone.

I have never had this, though I do have a 6-8inch scar down that part of my calf where the chainring bit in during a road bike crash many years ago.
