OK, I have now bought a proper house with a garage and I need to store, at the moment, 4 bikes without them taking up to much space, any suggestions for what has worked for you ?

Put them in the garage.
Same over here. I bought some decent wall brackets, fixed the good and proper into the garage Walls and hung the bikes by the wheels on the Walls. I then bought some torq (?) brick specific anchors and lock them with squires chains and padlocks, all key alike. I did this cos I a'm one of those strange people who lock their cars away in the garage. It is a nice car but putting all these into a garage was a logistics project and a half!
Put them in the garage ? Damn what a good idea 😉
Has hanging them from the wheels done any damage ?
