I have built a beam into my shed, off which i hang my bikes by the front wheel. Is this bad? Does it make any difference to both the hydraulic brakes and also the forks. It would mean that the fork oil would be constantly on the seals. Due to limited storage space, this is the best solution i have found, but obviously i don 't want the bikes to suffer due to this.
Cheers

I always have mine hung from the rear wheel..... no issues so far (5 years)
I hang all my bike by the wheels and have done for ten years - alternate front and back so they fit closer together. Not had any problems so far...
hang by the back wheel instead?
I hang mine by the nose of the saddle with no ill effect.
It should be fine.
Couple of comments though - don't play around with you brake leavers while hung up as I've heard people complain about problems (might have been needing a bleed anyway though).
My rockshox leak very slightly from the top of the forks when upside down. No problem really, just noticeable a little greasy. It does however lubricate the seals and foam rings so is supposed to be better.
