I've got one of those cheap, fixed slot type bike stands and it's a POS. Unstable at best..
Looking for a new, decent stand that will support the bike for light cleaning etc.
Thoughts on these please (to take advantage of the Halfords 10% off)

I have a complement of the feedback ones in the garage. They do the job for me, no issues with stability or odd drop out brake arrangements.

I Have an Andy Stand. Cost more than I liked but great bit of kit and UK made (important factor for me).

This!

Assuming all your bikes have the same tyre widths.

I have 3 types of stand about indoors

I made an "andy stand" out of an old Guitar stand that does for my mtb,

i also have this type screwed to my work bench for when i need to work on the top of the bikes

OH has one of these, which is a lot more stable than I expected! I've been thinking of buying one to leave in the van for trips away (unnecessary, I know, but having a workstand just makes life easier when someone has a bike issue)
