[#7341125]

I'm after a simple mtb stand for my Canyon Strive.
The same as a scorpion black stand. Can't seem to source them here and Andystand are too expensive.
It's just to keep my muddy/wet bike off the kitchen floor and not for maintenance.
Any suggestions or online sites you recommend?

I don't have the time or patience to make one so happy enough to buy.
Anyone?

The Andy Stand is well worth the money. It's almost my main stand now unless I'm doing anything to the cranks or BB

Damn it, want one of those Andystands now! Not bad for £40, beats leaning the bike against a wall trying to clean it...

I know, it could be made for less but its one of those things I just have no patience for spending hours trying to cobble together. 😉

The Andystand is cheaper than the one you linked to, substantially...? 😕

I met Andy at a trail centre just as he was trying to get the Andy Stand established. Nice guy and a keen rider. He was an electrician by trade and had his bike in the back of his work van.

Now I wonder where he got his inspiration from...

Isn't that type of stand going to put more strain on the bb bearings having to support the weight of the bike?
It seems like a good idea but it's that thought that puts me off getting one.
Of course I could be completely wrong........ 🙂

How much do you weigh? Do you not stand on the pedals in case the BB can't take the weight?
