[Closed] Bike Sales Trends?

Just wonder how sales are for specific styles of bikes? Specifically 'real' road bikes, but also how that translates to other sales. i.e. are road bike sales dropping but touring / 'gravel' bikes maybe taken up the slack as people want more versatile and don't care about the whole dentist / powermeter trend? How about mountain bikes? Are the ever changing standards meaning that people are being put off buying a bike because they are scared that it'll be redundant / worthless in 12 months time?

I'm in Canada so wondering what the state of play is 'over the pond'. Seems hard to find any info on-line other than basic 2014 stats and no breakdown of sales into bike type.
