Hola,
As I keep moaning that my mates always bail out of going riding with me (should avoid the pub on a Friday night) the missus has agreed to have a go at mountain biking. Easy off road and easy trail centres etc.
Like me she is into running so inevitably has bad knees so a full suspension job is probably best as I cant even get half way round Dalby on a hardtail without my knees giving up.
She has been out on my Giant NRS1 (I have no idea what year, I have had it for 4 years and it was probably fairly old then) and she likes that. What bikes are similar to the NRS?
Price wise we are looking at about £300-400 top whack for a 2nd hand one with some money kept aside for a good service?
Help appreciated.

If she likes the nrs why not use that and spend the money on upgrades when needed ?

Sadly, I normally use the NRS. I am looking for something for her (that I can also 'borrow' when mine is off the road 😉 )
There is an NRS for sale relatively locally but it would need a lot of upgrades which I could possibly do by canibalising my old hardtail but am wondering what other options there are before I do that.
