UPDATE: Reviews section refreshed, redesigned, searchable: Go take a look
Hi there
I am driving up North on Friday afternoon for a weekend of riding. I will be travelling on my own with the bike on the roof (Thule rack, Proride 591 carriers - all locked).
Thinking about if I need to stop at the services. Does anyone have any tips or advise for how I can minimise the risk of the bike being swiped?
Thanks
abus ny3000 plus a 3' abus cable .... lock mine to the rails themselves
rather than the carrier too !
I loop a lock (big heavy chain) through the frame and around a roof bar when I stop, stops them being able to just pull the bike off and ride away. Just be careful not to drop the lock on your roof!
If you are on your own won't it fit in the car? Save a few quid on fuel and save you picking the bugs off
