Have a 2018 Giant TCR with a 12mm Thru-Axle. Would like to carry it on my roof rack holding it by the forks. Currently, use a Delta Bike Hitch Thru Axle https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Delta-Bike-Hitch-Thru-Axle_102203.htm?sku=370464&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google_shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk5af96jo4AIVypTtCh0JZw2yEAQYAiABEgLwO_D_BwE#

Has anyone come across this problem and if yes what have they used? Thanks in anticipation for all replies.

Peter

Well not your problem as such but I do,use the Yakima fork chop carrier on my roof bars. Rear wheel has a clicker strap so that’s solid and the front comes with just about every version of axel adaptors for you to use the bikes own axel to fit the fork in to solid and so far no worries! also I’m using it with a 30 plus pound mountain bike. Hope that helps.
