You'll need a fairly sturdy one to put a Mini on. Try Thule - they look good.

I had a 2006 mini and used the thule rack for two years. Its a good one. Sold the mini but still have most of the rack in garage if you want them for half price of the same parts online. I have the two aerocrossbars with the feet adaptors. Youd need the side bars. Either way dont forget to put some helicopter tape on the roof to protect paintwork.
Id recommend the thule 591 bike holders too. Still use mine every day.
