I genuinely thought it must be april 1st when the story popped up, especially with the nevis range tie-in, nevis range don't even seem to know what to do with the venue they already have.
But I'd love to see it of course, I hereby bet 50 scottish pence there is no gondola in dunoon in 2035 but if I'm wrong I will be absolutely delighted to lose it and will be glad to hand deliver it the first time of many times I go.

So the reports about Dunoon are worded as if it's definitely happening, however there is no completion date mentioned and no mention of how much is being invested in it - which is a little odd for this kind of story.
So, are Nevis Range fully funding the undoubtedly huge cost? Or is this announcement part of them fishing for funding from elsewhere?
Just wondering if it's as firm as they're making out. Any locals know the score?
