Can anyone advise best size/biggest possible dry bag for use with Salsa Anything cages - looking at doing some super minimal packing or touring with my Singular.

8L is about as big as you'll really want to go.

Like Stu says 8l is about the biggest you really want to go. I use 5l on mine with the sleeping bag in one and the down jacket in the other.

Keeps things nice and light and easy to squidge into the cage for a snug fit.

Just bought a cage off the ads, which I'm probably not likely to use tbh, so would sell it if you're interested. It didn't come with the straps, but any compression straps fit. £6 posted.

I'm using Alpkit 5l bags in mine which fit nicely, if you had a longer rather than much fatter 8l that's would also be ok but I found the fat 8.5l ones I have a bit of a hassle to get seated right.

Thanks all - so 5 to 8 sounds right. Alpkit or who else that's not too spendy?

8 lt for me.
Alpkit have useful tabs to put straps thru.
Ensure you loop the straps around the fork leg,not just the cage or you will die.
Due to risk of death I have moved onto the HD version. Much more Mad Max and with the instruction to strap the fork leg.
