[#4003025]

After the "in excess of £450" thread from earlier.

It got me thinking that I should brush up on my spannering skills.

I used to do all my own "everyday Maintenance" but that's going way back to cantilever brakes etc.

Not done any for years and was wondering if anyone knew of any courses where I could learn to stip and rebuild a more modern mountain bike (than I am used to) And how to do all the maintenance and repairs required.

Preferably in the North, but not too worried really as it will save a fair few quid in the long run.

Before spending money on a course have a look on youtube, theres lots of really good tutorials on there for gears, brakes, forks, shocks, etc.
