Called my home insurance company privilege and they stated they can cover my bike at home and outbuildings but not for taking it out as it costs over £1500. what good companies provide accidental damage and theft out of home (at a good price)

Thanks

CIS (co-op) used to do £5 for a year on top of household cover (which was really competetive too). Cover up to £500, although when my Surly got nicked they gave me £950. Not bad for a £5 premium. My GFs bike and an old Specialized thing I used to have also got stolen and got pretty much their value back.

Worth getting in touch and seeing what they do nowdays.

I had my more expensive itemised and that was only about £30 on top.

M&S I changed to, the top premium covers the bike away from the house.
