Hi all, thinking about insuring my bikes [five and a cx] but quoted £250+ by home insurance lot, seems quite steep. Anyone got any tips, recommendations? Cheers
I'm in the same boat at the moment, but with household contents insurance, not just for the bike.
From what I can see; it's a complete minefield of exclusions and small print.
Just when you think your found a good deal you read that they either won't insure it away from home, or when its on/in your car.
And don't get me started on the cost!!! 🙁
Proper pants, reckon there must be some sort of specalist insurer out there. I chain my bikes to ground anchors in an alarmed shed, but home insurance company not really interested. Does anyone bother?
