Staying up near Belford soon but won’t be able to take a bike so was wondering if there is any bike hire locally? I don’t need anything fancy , a hard tail or hybrid would be fine.

There's an ebike place in wooler and another at seahouses. Pedal power hire bikes, but they are down in amble.

Not aware of any in Belford but the 3 posted there, Alnwick, Berwick and Wooler are all roughly the same distance from Belford.
