[#7139364]

So I fancy getting out on a mountain bike again, seeing as it's been a few years since I turned my back on fat tyres and went for the skinny road rubber instead.

I'm off next week and have a few days to fill so wanted to go upto to Glentress for a pootle. Only thing is I don't have a mountain bike so I'm looking to hire one. Nothing fancy, just something Billy-Basic (although I'd like something with a bouncy front end). Something cheap will do. As long as I can get round the blue and the red.

Any suggestions?

Ta in advance

Just hire whatever their (Alpine Bikes at Glentress) stock and trade hardtail is. It'll be much better than what you rode previously no doubt.

Yip. They've built a new multimillion pound visitors centre - part of which is a bike shop.
