Hi there. We're thinking about a trip next year to Morzine and were hoping to hire some bikes there. Not full-on downhill bikes but something a bit more "all-mountain". Does anyone know how much we'd be looking at? Would probably need them for around four days. Cheers.

A false economy unless you luck out and find a gem.
2 of us had brand new bikes (Giant and Lapierre) and we were repairing stuff on a daily basis out there as the bikes take such a pounding and the other guy had has intense strip down a few times.
buy a tougher bike? generally each day stuff needs tweaking but I normally only get one proper repair in 2 weeks in the alps/whistler (doing full on dh)
Outside of a proper DH bike, you woudln't get much tougher than we had. The Intense ended up with a set of Lyriks in pieces and a cracked frame.
