Does anyone have any recommendations for bike-friendly accommodation in Keswick? I don't need a workshop, but a lock-up for the bikes or a secure car park would be good. Other than that it's just a comfy bed, hot shower and a big breakfast that I need (and a short walk to the pubs).

Graham's full then. There's also http://www.cumbriahouse.co.uk/ - they're bike friendly (although I think the shed is being demolished !). If you get really stuck for storage, give me a shout and you can lock your bikes in my shed overnight 😀

Yes he was. Theses guys aren't though. All booked for this Sunday and Monday. Cheers for the tip. Maybe see you on Skiddaw! Planning on doing the Skiddaw and Borrowdale bash routes from the Chris Gore Lakes guide.

Good stuff - enjoy the rides. I might be heading around the back of Skiddaw myself on Sunday morning to check this out:

So I might see you en route 🙂

I'll be on a Whyte 46 and wearing 661 knee pads to keep the bad knees warm!

We used this place last week, really friendly and right in the centre of town, large car park and lockable shed for the bikes.
