Looks like our club will be organising a sportive next year. I will get the job of setting up the web entry system.
I am hoping there is something out there which can do it all for you including payment. The payment bit is the most important as this could be a one off if it isn't a great success. Anyone got any experience of this?

The british cycling one is probably the most obvious and has the lowest costs. Active europe are ok too and is a bit slicker than the BC offering. Both pay to designated accounts quickly enough (weekly for bc and monthly for AE from memory).
XC racer do entries via PayPal. If your club is set up properly it can get a PayPal account with reduced fees.
