[#1463159]

hi there...

I'm looking at three bike bags. They are going to be used to take the bike on the bus and the ferry, so i won't need to worry about airport gorillas.

Merlin own brand

The CRC one is wheeled (easier to carry) and comes with 2 wheel bags. Is this worth the extra £30 compared to the others? Can i buy wheel bags elsewhere for less?

Hope to get a reply soon,

ideally buying tonight or tomorow morning

cheers,
HR

I bought the Avenir bag last year for a flight to france seemed to be the perfect thing. no wheels but it save weight, and you just use a trolly anyway.

I won't be flying out with a bike so wheels are of a priority as i'll be lugging it about ferries, buses and trains. Hence i went for the CRC bag instead of the avenir, despite the good price.

I'll post up my first impressions of the bag when it comes, hopefully the stiching will be good considering the cost

btw, that ultrasport looks very good, despite the modest customer reviews
