[Closed] Bike Advice

Hello,

New person here and looking for some bike advice.

I am looking for a hardtail XC bike , £1000 - £2k and have looked at the following -

Trek 8500 - Used to have one a few years ago, liked it but top end of budget.

On - One Carbon Whippet - know nothing about these but seem good value.

Specialized Stumjumper Evo 29 - top end of budget but life time frame warranty. No experience of the 29" wheel. Sales guy tells me its the way to go.....

Boardman HT Pro Carbon - seem good value for the spec.

I will mainly be doing single track in and around Perthshire and the odd long trip.

Any advice on the above options much appreciated.
