Cheeky request here...anyone got a modern (last year or so) FS 29er 'aggressive' bike I can have a quick go on? I'm in the market for a bike in the very near future and had previously written 29ers off, but the more I see the more I'm doubting that decision...

Have you checked what demo bikes Brink have?
They are Santa Cruz, Specialised and Transition dealers. They definitely have, or had, a Hightower or two if nothing else.

and if Brink don't come up trumps then Rutland Cycles at Grafham Water might be worth a look.
