Its my 1st race and i`m unsure what tyres to use ? I ride a anthem X1 with a conti speedking on front and a RR on the back. Any thoughts would be greatly received.
Ride with whatever you're comfortable with, to suit your riding style and the race type. I've seen everything from semi-slicks to downhill tyres in the same race. Personally, I push it hard on the downhills so prefer to run a knoblier tyre than average, and live with the drag on the pedally bits. Bottom line is it's personal preference. Which race? Have fun!

It's a tight, technical course, loads of singletrack and tricky climbs - so I'd go for sticky, grippy, knobbly rather than anything fast rolling/high pressure.
