Was looking for something like it to put on my ECR, only lighter, and less money if possible.... Anyone got any reccomendations? Would love some, thanks! Was going to get a front and a rear, I like the rear rack styles so was just going to mount one on the front, found this which looks pretty nice (: http://www.tredz.co.uk/.Oxford-Adjustable-Carrier-Rack-Disc-Compatible_55674.htm

I've just bought one of these: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/tortec-transalp-rear-disc-rack-prod23681/

Seems pretty light and well put together. Rock-solid when in place.
Can't comment further than that as I haven't actually used it in anger yet.

Edit: d'oh - ignore me, just realised you wanted a front rack.
It's early...

Surly out back, Vavert Advancer up front

the PDW rack will fit at the back but feels heavier than the Surly

No worries bull and bladder, I need a back one now as well!

And thanks for your reply Steve, the Surly looks brilliant! I'm suprised the pdw is heavier though :S I think I might just get the Surly. I really don't wanna spend £200 on racks though. Argh.. anyone else?
