this was my first ever race as a competitor and i really enjoyed the chilled atmosphere, the course was a challenge with big wheels around those turns but fun all the same, the real ale was awesome as were the bands, i especially liked how WCA arranged the battle of britain fly past and the vulcan flyover
2 1/2 pints before racing in the sunshine probably wasn't a good idea or drinking at 10:34 onwards (as the cam exif says)

all in all i thought it was a great weekend, sorry for late post as i spent the remaining week in Dorset without t'internet

Regardless of ducati service interval spacings a ducati with a home mechanic and no dealer service history is worthless because mostly (not all) ducati wanters are snobs and want near new. Fair enough but I dont trust anyone else with my bike. Oil change every 3500miles. no big deal. it drains while you clean it/adjust chain etc. Don't bother with internal stuff until you can feel something up. leave it factory sealed.

the air show was awsome, the vulcan being the highlight, never seen one of them fly before. I live in lincoln and uni campus is next to the RAF base (Scampton) where the red arrows are based. it's sweet air shows daily. 🙂
ah, no probs, thinking about it that lady didn't have a Brummie accent, then again i'dnot have noticed if you did as i have one myself and i'd have thought it was normal 🙂

You change the oil every 3500 miles :O Even angela can keep her oil for longer...
Juan, I choose to change the oil every 3500, book says 4000 but you can hear the oil is tired after 3500, engine is a little loouder etc.

I have a job next summer (after) uni escorting people on laps of the nurburgring... i'm not sure you'd want me to rape your little lady ;). If however you do, have you ever been to the nurburg? OR how about a lap of lovelly cadwell park. both are fabulous tracks to give ur duke death on.
