Need to get a new pair for this autumn/winter and have been looking at the Planet X ones.
After something warm with a good pad in.
Would these be the best value for money or can anyone recommend anything different?
Thanks for any suggestions!
I'd get the ones without a pad and wear normal shorts under them
Did you do a search?
There are many threads that mostly recommend the DHB ones from Wiggle.
I have some, they are good.
I asked similar last month bit I was after bib shorts
Ended up getting Craft ones from StartCycles after several recommendations
Very comfy, the pad is much better than the one in my Gore and dhb bibs
The thermal tights are currently 50% off

*I am sure some DHB is ok and I may have been unlucky.
You could look for a better brand (Castelli,Santini etc) in a sale.
Start cycles are doing a good price on Scott stuff,I don't know who Scott get to make their kit but it seems decent quality.click
