Another mountain bike was stolen from a roof rack of a vehicle parked in Mabie Forest yesterday. Theft happened between 3.45pm and 4.30pm. The distinctive bike is lime green in colour and worth over £2000. The theft follows on from three other bike thefts in the area in the past month. Be alert to the thieves and report anything suspicious to us.
Certainly not condoning the thievery, but who leaves a 2K bike sat on a roof rack? That's just mental. But I have wondered how long before smart cookies started waiting for people to rack up bikes and head off for a munch. Call me paranoid but this is why I always eat with my bike in sight.
Not good, exactly where was the car parked when it happened?

why would you ever leave your bike unattended? would you leave a 2 grand watch on a table while you went for something to eat for 30 minutes?
