I am heading down there at the end of the month.
What are your experiences of the Marin Trail and the Penmachno trail?
We are walking in Snowdonia somewhere on the Saturday and hope to bike on Sunday. The thing is two of the guys with us are not regular bikers and just starting to get interested again. Ideally we would be best on the least technical of the two. Any comments, negative or positive welcomed.

There's nothing really technical at Penmachno, though it is fairly narrow in quite a lot of places. Not done the Marin but they guys in the bike shop in ByC reckoned it was a bit harder.
I did Penmachno last week & it would be good to all start together, then the more experienced/fit could do loop2 & catch up the others that just do loop1.
Nothing difficult to it - ideal for a taster.
