Just wanted to thank the guys at BETD cycles for liffe saving surgery on my old 5 Spot. The main pivot had ovalised and general concensus was that the frame was dead. A chance post on STW from Porky at BETD gave me hope and the frame was given life saving surgery - she is now recovering and doing well.
Would recommend their service - was fast, efficient and very reasonable.

what did they do, ream an oversize hole and re-bush?

Yeah Markyd - they did ream on oversized hole and sleeved it. then drilled through for the grease port. Also gently sanded down one side of the swing arm and loc-tited a washer on where it had been affected by wear from the side to side play on the swing arm.
they can also supply individual parts for the bush kit instead of having to go to silverfish for a full £80 squid one & will specially machine non- standard parts for you.
80 quid rrp now is it? ugh.
