Hi all,
Need some advice on the best sub 2000 XC bike available. Was thinking a Scott Spark 30? Any advice welcome. Full sus is what i'm after.

Go to a few bike shops, have a test ride on bikes within your budget, pick the one what feels 'right'.
Then go online see if you can find it for cheaper. 🙂
Friend pointed out to me a Cannondale Flash2, '10 model for £1400 from Paul's cycles. Carbon frame, SID forks and X-9 chainset etc.
No experince of them however. Cube Reactions Ally or Carbon are good i've found also. European set up thou if that bothers u.
Flash is hardtail though.
I'd just list all the usuals:
Spark
Epic
Top Fuel
Anthem
etc etc
Try them all, buy the one you like most. I really want to like Sparks, but just don't, can't get on with the Tracloc lever, and find you have to use it a lot to get the most from the bike. Had 3 Epics and 2 Top Fuels though, my 2011 Top Fuel is my favourite. Personal and that.
