I have an old scott frame that I can't afford to upgrade at the moment but I have managed to buy a second hand set of XT disk brakes for it.
It has the mounts for the caliper but no obviouse way of attaching the hydralic hose to the frame.
It currently runs all 3 cables along the top of the top tube.
Cheers for any help.
Ben.
Carefully drill out the stops on the top tube cable guides so you can fit a hose through, then get busy with some zip ties else where?
Just zip tie the buggers on, it’s the best way to keep them attached, even in frames with hose guides.
If the cable guides are there, you can use these things CLICKY
And I use these on my carbon forks CLICKY
There is also these CLICKY
