Whinlatter and Hamsterley should be decent enough.
If your thinking about going to one, part of the whinlatter is closed at the moment for repairs

I don't think Penmachno has ever been dry.
Gisburn's generally ok, lots of puddles but not a lot of mud.
We were at Gisburn last Sunday and it rained all day but it was still good to ride.
+1 for Laggan in the wet. Ace, grippy fun...
Whinlatter does ride at near it's best when it's absolutly pissing it down
Aren't all trail centres fine in the wet? That's what they're for, when the local natural trails are gopping, so you don't damage them and your bearings.

It can be pretty greasy when it's not raining though.

Grizedale works well in the wet, and is a step above Gisburn/Whinlatter IMO.
Cannock is not good in the wet. Shiny pebbles anyone 8O.
We Rode penmachno in the wet, very wet indeed, bb deep puddles up on the open hillside, brilliant fun tho!

I've noticed that too, can't work out why. Either wet slate is slippy or it isn't...
