I've yet to find one that will actually stay clipped on to the bikebag loops, so am interested in this topic.

Off-hand though, as I don't commute, a cheap and cheerful "Range" special adorns all my bikes normally (cause their so cheap, or were)

tesco 3 quid kidney lights are usually used for bag clipping duties.
Purely because if i lose one it's not big deal then.

Smart ones seem to have a decent clip. If you've got a decent tab to clip it to, then a strip of electricians tape underneath pretty much makes sure it'll stay.

If you just want a flashy light, there are some cateye ones on an elastic bungy thingy you loop round something and tuck under themselves so just dangle.

I find that any 'proper' rear lights wont stay on the bag loops - only thing I've found that works is the little Cateye tie-on type
http://www.cateye.com/en/products/detail/SL-LD110/
I'm sure other companies make similar but this is the only one I've tried

Second the cheap Tesco one. Seem to stay put most of the time (even off-roading they've not fallen) and the one time one did I wasn't overly bothered.
