'Best' I had was a 1991 Diamondback Topanga white and balck flecks with flouro pinkm highlights - awesome!

My bro has the Apex with the white frame and black paint splashes on.

I can't find a pic, but the Boulder Starship with flames was pretty awesome.

... So were the Steel Raleigh DH bikes with flames... so awesome that I got my Patriot airbrushed by the same bloke.

Funny how we're all looking at OLD bikes rather than current models.

There's quite a good reason for that...

Truly nasty. Really really horrible. Billboards on wheels. Urrgh.

Cannondale have had the odd quirky paintjob; remember this 'Full Wood' design from a few years back?

[img] [/img]

Wasn't there a bloke on here ages ago, had a custom leaf pattern on his bike? I thought that looked great.

I liked the old Kona paint jobs like the kona chute/stinky/stab etc.

There was also an old kona called a pahoehoe, from around 99 which was a copper/bronze sort of colour with matching Z2's, it was well nice

Can't find a better picture of it, but the Vicious Cycles spiderbike:

[img] [/img]

And they do loads of other custom options. Not as slick as some companies, but high on charm.

In recent years, the new Treks (particularly the bronze/white Remedies) look 'mazin!

Always loved the classic Mountain Goat Whiskeytown Racer:

[img] [/img]

And now they've started making them again, with a custom paint option, I am rather tempted:

Vicious Cycles do some nuts stuff. They offer full colour photo finish option (or at least they did). I loved the Peacock Groove Punisher bike they did, although I can't find a picture. Erik does some cool stuff as well. The G'n'R disc wheel is pretty nuts (and NSFW).

I got my switchback PC'd to match the ruller that was on my desk while I was deciding on a colour!

flickr->thisisnotaspoon for pics (of the bike not the ruller unfortunately)

Going to get a 456 PC'd the colour of of an LCD screen and get the decals made up like calculator numerals. It'll be mint!
