After losing my Alien I decided to just get a tool with hex keys and a T25 - and a separate chain tool - because I never used the other bits.

Got this, it's nice...

I really rate my CB 17 too.

some will knock it as its a Crank Bros product but its decent quality and works well.

I'm with kiwijohn on this one. I've had mine my m17 for about 5yrs now, and, apart from a little surface rust now, it's been excellent. Even the chain tool works well.

Topeak Hummer and a Gerber Vise covers nearly all MTB jobs.

No one tool has pliers, knife, chain tool, Torx, Allens and tyre levers, so the pair above is what I prefer.

The old Topeak Multi-16 was good too...with 2 of the most often used Allens to work as a pair.

And now the inevitable flaming and condemnation....

I've got a Topeak mini ratchet that is very useful, especially in confined areas... i even use it for the odd bit of DIY its that good. I've had crank bros and others but this is the one IMO ๐Ÿ™‚

Topeak mini 20 gets my vote, have one in gold and it's very light and has all the tools needed. Also a very nice piece of bling!
