What's the best MTB accommodation in the UK? Not bothered about location as these places tend to be close to good riding obviously! Just looking for a few days away next month and want somewhere hassle-free so don't need to worry about where to store bike/dry clothes etc... More time having fun!

Dales Bike Centre near Reeth, Yorkshire, seems to tick all the boxes, lots of x'd riding that way. Also Afan Lodge if Wales is easier for you.

Mudtrek in Brechfa Forest in Wales has an excellent reputation - good food, nice people, free guiding etc. Catering for grubby MTBers is what they do.

Can't believe I forgot to suggest this earlier but... If you're able to head up into Scotland, I once organised a fun weekend at Wheels in Callendar - www.scottish-hostel.com. Close to good pub for beers and food, also has bike shop and hire in case you need anything. Owners are really great too.[b]

Old Skool in Coedy-Brenin : http://www.oldskool-mtb.co.uk/

Run by Sian and Daffyd, who use to run the original cafe there. Fab accommodation, food and trails. What more could you want??
