I won't buy a red car. Just think they look rubbish and am superstitious about them. But metallic red bikes I can get with. Had a Puch road bike, a Dawes Galaxy Tour, and a Saracen Pro-trax. All accidentally metallic red (ie not chosen for colour) and all looked ace.
Sadly I have no pics of the Saracen - but the Dawes, I mean look how the sun plays with its shimmering ruby lushness - 8)

There's a metallic red Parlee on weight weenies that I nearly jizzed in my pants on sight of. Can't find it now though 🙁

Yes that XL24 is a thing of beauty, reminds me of flared trews and xmas, tho I got a 26" 'racing' bike with SA3 gears, albeit the same colour - destined to become a tracker with chrome cowhorns.
Stevied that is awesome, you could be the only STWr with a met red bike, with er... yellow wheels?
